Jude, a woodsman, carefully harvested trees with his axe for the town people to use. The best limbs he gave to his father Jadon, the woodcarver; the rest he sold to make tables, tools and toys. He spent most of his days alone, but he was never lonely, as he walked in constant conversation with God.
