The Tradition of the Piñata

The Tradition of the Piñata
Tell a Friend
The piñata may have originated in China and then spread to Italy, Spain, and the Americas. Early piñatas were clay pots decorated with colored paper and filled with tiny treasures and treats. Used for religious teaching, its seven points represent the seven deadly sings. Breaking the piñata represents good defying evil. The treasures pouring from the broken piñata symbolize blessings, charity, and abundance.
The Tradition of the Piñata card included.
