BRONNER'S CHRISTmas WONDERLAND
World's Largest Christmas Store
Frankenmuth, Michigan U.S.A.
Frankenmuth, Michigan, is the home of Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland.
Bronner's, a fascinating year-round attraction for all ages, was founded in
1945 by Wally Bronner. It has grown to be the world's largest Christmas store
and welcomes more than 2 million visitors annually from throughout the United
States, Canada, and the world. Bronner's impressive Alpine-design building,
which is the size of 5.5 football fields, is nestled on 27 acres of beautifully
landscaped grounds featuring delightful Christmas displays. The amazing shopping
wonderland inside the building is the size of 1.7 football fields. Bronner's
believes every day of the year should be a celebration of Christ's birthday;
therefore Bronner's motto is "Enjoy CHRISTmas, It's HIS Birthday; Enjoy
Life, It's HIS Way."
The joy and excitement of the holidays are evident every day
at Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland. Year-round Christmas trims adorn lampposts
and grounds along Bronner's 1/2-mile Christmas Lane where every evening visitors
may enjoy a spectacular exhibit of outdoor Christmas lights. A majestic, life-size
Nativity near each entrance focuses attention on the Christ child's birth.
Inside is a world of singing carolers, dancing Santas, and over
700 whimsical animated figures. "Welcome" signs greet visitors in
more than 60 languages. The international theme continues throughout Bronner's
where ornaments from dozens of countries around the world decorate a multitude
of trees. Ornaments are also available in more than 70 languages with a "Merry
Christmas" greeting.
Sparkling garlands, thousands of twinkling lights, shimmering
ornaments and Christmas music playing in the background create a spectacular
fantasyland for everyone to enjoy. Bronner's magical atmosphere conveys the
feeling of a European marketplace or Christkindlmart.
Bronner's is an adventure in shopping, featuring over 50,000
trims and gifts for all seasons, reasons, and budgets. Over half of Bronner's
items sell for under $10 and two thirds sell for under $20. More than 500 different
styles of Nativities ranging in size from one-inch to life-size are displayed,
including Bronner's exclusive, life-size Nativity.
Over 350 decorated Christmas trees in religious, traditional,
and toyland themes showcase a sampling of more than 6,000 styles of ornaments.
Many ornaments are Bronner's own designs and are produced in the U.S.A., Europe,
and Asia exclusively for Bronner's. Families often traditionally choose Bronner's
personalized ornaments, selecting from the store stock of 150 popular names
or special ordering a name or greeting for any occasion. Guests are encouraged
to take their time and browse leisurely throughout the complex. The fully-carpeted,
spacious facility is handicapped-accessible, and wheelchairs are available.
Season's Eatings snack area serves light refreshments perfect for lunch or snack
time.
Although Christmas is the main focus at Bronner's, there is
also a vast array of trims and gifts for any occasion - Hummels, Precious Moments,
Department 56, Fontanini, and other collectibles; wooden nutcrackers; steins;
adorable plush animals; music boxes; angels; Bibles in many languages; religious
gifts; candles; and much more. Gift certificates make shopping easy.
Many special events are scheduled at Bronner's throughout the
year. Popular annual events include Bronner's Hummel Days, Precious Moments
Days, and the Department 56 Gala. Demonstrations by artists, videos on figurine
production, manufacturers' representatives, and drawings for prizes delight
guests during these three annual events. Guests enjoy viewing Bronner's Hummel
collection of 1,000 figurines and Bronner's collection of 1,700 Precious Moments
figurines, those produced for purchase in the first 25 years of the collection.
The Easter Bunny hops into Bronner's at Easter time to greet
children. During December, the jolly man in red, Santa Claus, is at Bronner's
daily to hear children's wishes.
One million visitors have enjoyed the "World of Bronner's"
video presentation. This 20-minute delight of sights and sounds highlights the
design and production of Bronner's worldwide selection of trims and gifts. The
"World of Bronner's" is shown daily, free of charge, in Bronner's
program center. (Advance reservations for groups of 40 or more are appreciated.)
The DVD presentations "Silent Night Holy Night and the Silent Night Memorial
Chapel" and "A Decorative Life: the Wally Bronner Story" are
also shown daily.
Bronner's replica of the Oberndorf/Salzburg, Austria, Silent
Night Memorial Chapel was built in 1992 as a tribute to God and the world's
favorite Christmas hymn. The original chapel in Oberndorf/Salzburg was built
on the site of St. Nicholas Church where "Silent Night" was first
sung on Christmas Eve in 1818. Bronner's chapel is open daily for meditation
and visitation, but is not intended for services or ceremonies.
Bronner's Christmas Favorites catalog is mailed annually to
3 million locations across the United States and around the world. From exclusive
ornaments to heirloom Nativities, Bronner's Christmas Favorites offers a multitude
of ideas for home decorating and holiday gift-giving.
Over 3000 items are available from Bronner's online store at
www.bronners.com. A stop at Bronner's web store or shopping via Bronner's catalog
is the next best thing to a personal visit to Bronner's. Bronner's web site
also offers a wealth of information about the store, ornaments and decorations,
special events, collectibles, Bronner's Silent Night Chapel, electronic postcards,

of interior and exterior Christmas decorations to cities, shopping centers,
malls, businesses and movie sets. Bronner's wholesale department services retail

Michigan's governor designated Bronner's an Embassy of Michigan
Tourism, and Michigan AAA (American Automobile Association) recognized Bronner's
as one of the top ten man-made attractions in the state, ranking among the Mackinaw
Bridge, Greenfield Village, and the Renaissance Center. Bronner's is located
in Frankenmuth - Michigan's "Little Bavaria" and top visitor attraction.
Plenty of free parking is available at Bronner's. Buses, RVs,
and campers are easily accommodated in beautifully-landscaped parking lots.
Bronner's is located 25 miles north of Flint, just off I-75 at northbound exit
