Festive Cookie Frosting
2 lbs. powdered sugar
1 cup shortening
4 egg whites
4 t. vanilla
1/4 t. salt
4 creamer cups (or 4 to 5 t. milk or cream)
Mix all ingredients with electric mixer until creamy.
Divide and add food coloring as desired, and
decorate with knife or frosting bag. Refrigerate or freeze leftover
cookies or frosting (due to egg whites). Frosts 3 to 4 dozen cookies.
